Words From The Same Family - Fool V Foolish


Fool
1.   (noun) – a person who says or does silly things without thinking
Ø     Ken promised to pay Daniel back, and like a fool, Daniel  believed him.
Ø     Even a fool could tell that she was lying.
Ø     He’s a fool to think there’s a fast and easy way to get  rich.

2.   (verb) – to trick someone
Ø     Don’t be fooled by his appearance. He’s smarter than he  looks.
Ø     Sam was fooled into believing he had won a lot of  money a few years ago.


Foolish (adjective) – unwise, silly
Ø     William did a lot of foolish things as a child.
Ø     She was afraid she would look foolish if she said something.  So, she stayed silent.
